The whole process is self-service, you're given a code to pick-up the room keys from a locker box. The room was clean and comfortable, so was bedding and towels. Location is excellent, right in the middle of the old town. The building is located in a pedestrianised area, so no parking is available but you can find spaces within 5-10 minutes walk.

The photos show how small the bathroom is, and that there is no shower box. But the setup is a bit grim due to the mould around the wooden-framed window located right where you shower. It is ok for one or two nights, considering their price is much lower than other properties in the area.

Very tiny bathroom, when you use the shower everything gets flooded with nothing to dry it with (no mop or rag towels) also found this pretty hazardous, few close calls slipping over because of this. bathroom needs a big renovation, rotting windowsills with lots of mould because of the flooding it gets. Right above a busy taverna, you hear very loud conversation basically everything going on beneath you in the main streets until very early hours 2AM would not recommend at all if you are a light sleeper. Also beware if you do not have a Greek SIM or internet had no idea there was no reception you get your keys by a lock box and she told us on the day. I can imagine people being stuck because of zero communication well before check in date. couldn’t check in until 4pm, so we had to walk around with luggage the whole day. Overall, would not recommend in Nafplio.

Great apartment, very clean, comfortable, with a terrific view of the Venetian fortress from the balcony. Well stocked kitchen. Electric stove worked very well, faster than other places we stayed in Greece. The location is great, in the very heart of the Old Town, just 5-7 minutes away from the bus station.

Please be warned - looks like many hosts in Greece send you the lockbox code and the Wi-Fi code at the last moment, when you are already on your way to their apartment. And if your phone doesn't have a local SIM card, you are out of luck. In our case, we had to go to a store across the street to ask them to call the host to get the information that she sent to us when we were already on a bus to Nafplio. So make sure to ask hosts to send you this vital information IN ADVANCE. The bathroom is small, which is OK, but there is no barrier on the floor around the shower, so when you take a shower, an entire bathroom floor is naturally covered with water. If you are traveling not alone, ask the others to use the bathroom BEFORE you take a shower.
