Just the most wonderful experience i had in Greece and every experience i had was great Felt like home and family. Incredible secluded beaches Dina showed us, wonderful little souvlaki place for takeout with the sweetest people. Little grocery store 50 metres away and a great reasonably priced taberna metres away with spectacular ocean view. Picking plums from the trees, hostess bringing home made pancakes and fresh made juice, apartment super clean, comfortable beds and grandma offering me tensir bandages after i wrecked my ankle.. Take the time and do the drive, I was only staying one night and stayed 3 because I just got so relaxed. Amazing terrace up top with ocean view. Just go, you will not be disappointed

A simple and pleasant apartment but with everything you need for a wonderful stay in a greek village, with a beautiful view of the sea. Good places to eat in the nearest village, about fifteen minutes drive. Dina and Eleni welcomed us warmly, the breakfast is very tasty, definitely a good place to stay if you are looking for the authentic Greek vacation

It was a wonderful experience to stay here at Dina’s place. It was quiet, relaxing, beautiful landscapes and warm kind hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and we were even lucky enough for Dina to cook us a Christmas dinner because all the tavernas were closed.and wow this was our favourite meal in Greece! Dina really took such good care of us, gave advice for walks and beaches and was available whenever we needed. We loved how remote and peaceful this beautiful place was!

Nothing really…! The only thing is there were a lot of us there as dinas family was visiting and sometimes there was a shortage of hot water but we only needed to wait a bit and the water heated again.

The rooms are meticulously maintained and the rugged area is beyond compare both for trekking in the mountains or chilling on the beaches. For a real feel for mountain village life, while having the luxury of a comfortable, local place to stay Eleni's House is unbeatable. Dina the hostess knows the area well and goes out of her way to give tips about the area, and to help out when needed. The village Vlachia is located near about 10 isolated beach coves separated by vulcanic cliffs. Some of the beaches are easily accessible, while others require a hike through rough terrain, but worth the effort. All offer magnificent views and excellent swimming opportunities, with crystal clear waters, sand and pebble beaches and rocky outcrops, with hidden caves and options for diving and exploration. The pine covered hills above the village offer opportunities for walks with great views to the sea and islands below. The village is also great as a base for exploring the whole of Evia island. From a short drive to Pilio, or a more adventurous one to Mili and Limnionas for great food and bars; to even further towns like Steni with its famous tavernas, or Limni and Edipsou up north.
