Sitia Old Port Apartment

Posizione ottima così come l'accoglienza. Casa luminosa e pulita con vista sul porticciolo.

Unica pecca la doccia: molto bassa e poco confortevole

Location, size of apartment. Kind host.

The shower is too low. The bed had no slats under pillow. Road workers drilling the road outside early morning. This wasn't the hosts fault but it spoiled our stay and we left 2 days early

Amazing sea view right from the bed, very clean, very friendly host, right on the port and very close to the beach (less than 5 min walk on the Promenade). Excellent tavern right at the bottom of the building : To Limani. Delicious home made cake & raki as welcome gifts. Sitia is a lovely little town and the sea is amazing to swim & has an easy access (sand).

Quite noisy environnement as located right above the taverns & promenade but we were warned of it by the host several times before our arrival which we have greatly appreciated. We could sleep with earpluggs in. The bathroom could be improved but it was perfectly fine for us.

Great location just off the promenade. We were warned it might be noisy as there were many bars and restaurants, but we had no problems.

The air conditioner only cooled the bedroom. The shower was very small and awkward to use.

The apartments look out over the harbour and are located just off the main square. There are many tavernas and bars very close by. A balcony runs on 2 sides of the apartment, offering sun and shade. There is easy to access free parking in several locations. We stayed 4 nights in August and returned for 4 further nights later in September. Both apartments were ideal for 2 people and had a full range of necessities.

The absence of a handrail on the marble staircase.
