It was perfect

Beautiful new apartment with views from every angle. Paliochora was a hidden gem. We loved it. We were warmly greeted with a lovely bottle of wine from the owner. Apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay and sitting on the outdoor table with a wine admiring the view was a highlight .

It was a bit pricy but, I guess it was in the average pices of the flats in Chania region, still expensive though.

Our apartment was on the second floor and like a brand new penthouse suite!! Everything was modern, spotlessly clean and very spacious. The views are jaw-dropping - almost a 180 degree view over mountains, the sea and the village. It was great watching the sunrise and sunset from the TWO terraces which meant you could sit in the sun or shade. If you have a car, you can easily park on the road outside. On the map, it looks a little way out of town on a small hill but in reality, it's just an easy 15 minute walk to the local bakers and an excellent supermarket plus another 5 minutes to the centre where all the restaurants are. We enjoyed the walk home to let our meal go down! In peak season, it would also be nice to be away somewhere a bit quieter than very busy beach or town area. The restaurants we eat at in the town represented excellent value for money and great food - note though, many don't open until May. There is also a huge, flat beach between the apartment and the town so a great location.

Nothing. It's not cheap but worth every penny.

We have loved the view. The apartment is spacious and clean. Big storage space for clothes. Nice welcome wine, coffee, tea, water and fruit. Quiet location during end of April.

Bear in mind there is no dishwasher and microwave in the kitchen. The bid bed was too hard for us. We were promised light cleaning on the 3rd day but no-one showed up. As there is marble floors in all apartments you may hear your neighbors from upstairs.
