Geranium Villa by the sea

We stayed here for a week. What a lovely place this is. The Apartments were spotless, the owners were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. The area is an oasis of tranquility. All I can say is that it was a great find! Highly recommend Geranium Villa by the Sea (at Kineta) to any traveler, solo or family, you can’t go wrong here. Thanks to the owners for an amazing week and for being so great at what they do, top job 👍 we will be back!

Fantastic location right on the beach. Very friendly host. Private parking with the gate. Clean and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Booking clearly showed accommodation

The apartment is quite luxurious and nicely equipped in terms of bed rooms and bathroom facilities. The kitchenette is one flight of stairs up which is unusual but doable. Inside the apartment there is no actual room to have meals or an eating area of any kind; it is a pure bed room apartment with one sofa and two bathrooms. Tables large enough to sit around are on the terraces around the house. The sofa is in the vestibule where there is also a camping fridge and a coffee capsule machine in the shelf unit along with a few cups which appear misplaced. That being said the apartment does not seem suitable for a longer stay where you at least want to prepare breakfast or have an evening snack. For the two nights we stayed there we could make it work. The windows, of which there are plenty, are sound, heat, light and mosquito proof if you wish. Many windows are in fact balcony doors leading to the two terraces reaching almost around the entire house. This can be a bit confusing and laborious in terms of closing all roller blinds and turning off all the multiple lights on the terrace which are controlled from the inside. The location is perfect for a beach holiday; the house is about 50 meters from the shore with a large and beautiful garden between house and sea. In terms of infrastructure it's a bit more difficult if you don't travel by car; the next groceries store is 1.5 km away and the village is not designed to be walked. It wasn't a big deal as we were on vacation but we were almost the only people not in a car or on a moped. The next cafe was only 700 meters away, though. Those things aside, it is a truly beautiful and, for Central Europeans, exotic place. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We immediately were offered a ride to the supermarket. One thing, I understood that the apartment has a washing machine, however, there was none and also our request for it was not answered.

Perfect hosts. A beautiful home right on the beach very spacious and clean. Walking distance to a fabulous beach restaurant. Highly recommend.
