VERANDA BLUE - POROS

The apartment was sweet, with a great view of the Poros harbor

It was VERY difficult to find the apartment near the top of the hill. Google maps couldn’t locate the “address” and the taxi dropped us off at the wrong place. A neighbor was delightful and helpful, talking to the owner and walking us to the home. Ask for a pin, rather than the address provided.

The view is like being in a postcard

The host was very helpful with booking and the accommodation had everything we needed. Lovely view from the veranda although it was very windy during our stay so we didn't get full use of the veranda.

The accommodation was a little difficult to find given google maps didn't seem quite up to navigation on Poros. You definitely need to be fit to stay here if you want to go to and from the main area of the town.

The view from the balcony is simply priceless! worth any amount of steps you need to take in order to reach the apartment but huge plus is a parking spot just a minute away. We travelled with a doggie and there is a hiking path just out of the door and the again, the view is getting even better with every turn! The host went out of his way to make our stay unforgettable. We really hope to be back soon!

Other reviews warn about the climb, but some clear instructions how to find it easily would be a great idea. i.e. Look for the floating yacht pier. Take alley directly to right of left-hand Kritikos supermarket and keep on up as near straight as possible almost to the top. Then a short left and right and you are there. Otherwise a taxi ride to close by.
