Fotis Apartments

The location is great, close to the airport and to the beach. Not as busy as in the centre, perfect for a long layover. The room is perfect for solo travelers or couples, equipped with A/C, which was a life saver in the heat. Our host was amazing too, offering shuttle service from and to the airport. He also gave us recommendations on where to eat/drink and beach. Amazing all in all.

Quiet and fairly close to the beach( although the walk is short but little worry as its only you walking most of times) I would suggest renting a car for safety. Fotis was welcoming and friendly and helpful in terms of recommendations and suggestions around the area if needed. There are very nice restaurants in the area fir seafood lovers 💯

No refreshments( I was expecting some snacks or at least tea/coffee in case a drink is needed) you can't buy such stuff for 1-2 days stay!!! I stayed in other places sane area and were proper apartments with snacks and refreshments so I expected the same, but it was like a hotel room only to sleep( there is kitchenette if you wanna buy stuff and cook though). Anyway, in general it was okay.

Spotless clean and close to the airport. Absolutely quiet at night. Very friendly, punctual and polite host! Comfortable beds. Tasty restaurants and bars in walking distance. Clean beach in walking distance. Perfect for a stopover. Will defenetly come back!

Fotus was amazing! Very lovely and hospitable. He picked me up and dropped me off at the airport, he showed me where the beach was and gave me some restaurant recommendations, the apartment is close to some markets, restaurants and cafes, everything you need is within walking distance. You’re a 10 min walk away from the beach. 10/10 can absolutely recommend staying here! Thank you for everything!

I tried repeatedly to contact the proprietor, telling him that we were going to stay and we were driving to the location. Every time, he sent us/me what I assume was an automated response asking if we wanted to be picked up at the airport. Also, when we used Google maps to find the place, it was nowhere that we could find. Thus, being frustrated, we went to another hotel in a near by town. Aside from that, I am very, very disappointed in the customer service from you, Booking.com, since I had tried over 15 times to contact you about another booking, but when I tried to call the three numbers you provided, none of them worked. Two immediately discounted and the other was in French, which I don't speak. In addition, when I sent emails numerous times (at least 5) telling you that I don' t have the PIN that you allege was sent to us, and which we never received, you continued to ask for the same information again, and again, and again, and again. The fact that you continued to send that same request, suggests that you really never read the emails I sent other than to provide phone numbers that didn't work. So, I plan on telling as many people as I can how horrible my experience with you has been and never, ever plan to use you again. Your customer service, to my mind, is absolutely horrible. Excellent service, picked me up and returned to the airport right on time. A very kind guy, leaves you alone to relax after check in. The location is close to the beach and convenience store. There is a huge bakery near the beach, you can buy breakfast there and save money on expensive airport food! Would stay here again in Athens.

Some lights were bright outside the window but they can be blocked out with the blinds closed.
