As a suggestion, please do repair the air conditioning flap, which was not working, with an air stream directly on the bed

Nino Kiknadze - I am from Georgia, this republic is located on the Black Sea coast. I am an associate professor of the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. I was on the island of Crete for the first time, in Platanias. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the 8th International Conference on Industrial and Hazardous Waste Management, which was held in Platanias from 27 to 31 May. Everything was top notch: the owner is great, friendly, helpful; the room is cozy, clean, furnished with comfortable furniture; the kitchen area is convenient for cooking; the bathroom is convenient for hygiene needs; wi-fi works flawlessly; a great view of the courtyard, which is furnished with beautiful flowers; the house is close to the sea and not far from the main street, so it is almost silent; the room is cleaned every 2 days; the hotel's appearance is excellent.

Everything was great, we liked absolutely everything. Pleasant circumstances and facts exceeded all our expectations. We will recommend John's apartments to all our friends to have a pleasant and comfortable time in Platanias.

Very nice service and support from host

The owners are good and helpful. The hotel is very near to the beach. There were different amenities available as mentioned in the booking.

I face issues with the door lock and opening. The doors are old quality.

The place was as described in the pictures, a small apartment. It has everything you need, including air conditioning for the hot Cretan days and nights. Mr John was nice, he even provided us with a beach umbrella when we asked. The location is right next to the beach.

The only minor inconvenience was that the room was not ready when we arrived, so we had to awkwardly walk around for an hour and a half in the lunch's heat, but, besides that, everything was very good. Also, the parking is on the street, and some spots are held by people renting out cars, but there wasn't any day we had trouble finding a spot.

Friendly staff, immaculately clean. Had everything that I needed. Close to the beach and a short walk to the centre of the village.

Shower tray edge not marked well and very close to the toilet, would be easy to step off and find the floor is not there!

The apartment is located 100 m away from the beach. Rooms are clean.

This was the place I was excited the most to stay in because of great reviews it has, but I was very disapointed. Rooms are outdated. Shower doesn't have a curtain or a cabin door, so the whole toilet gets wet after shower. Air condition did not work properly which made our stay very unconforable.
