Great location ,nice property with everything you need for a short self catering break, Barbara an excellent host, very helpful should you need anything

Host Barbara booked cabs for us and was there in 5 mins when I couldn’t get in because the sun was so bright I literally could not read my phone ( I’m 54 😅). Amazing host. Nothing was too much trouble.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

I just got back from staying at Explorer's Rest and, wow, it was fantastic! The apartment had everything you could think of, which made everything super comfy and convenient. Barbara, the host, was a total star. She sorted out all my taxi rides and answered every single question we had. She really couldn’t have been more helpful! And then there was Peter, who kept the place spotless throughout my stay. Thanks to him, the apartment felt fresh and clean all the time, which was awesome. The location of the place was perfect, too. It was super easy to get around and check out all the cool spots nearby. Honestly, staying at Explorer's Rest was just great. I’d totally recommend it to anyone looking for a chill spot that feels like a home away from home.

The only issue was that the WiFi was quite sluggish.

Location is ideal as a starting point for island exploration. It is settled in calmer part of Argassi, away from all the noise, but yet close enough if you want to enjoy nightlife of the place. Zakyntos town is only 5 min by car. You'll have spacious private parking in the yard. Room is nicely decorated. They've cleaned it and changed towels after two nights. Bed was OK.

When we arrived room and everything was clean generally but bathtub drain was full of woman hair. WiFi signal is good, both on balcony and in the room, but terrible internet speed/connection. On the moments you will not be able to do anything. Pillows were thin and very uncomfortable. Freezer compartment in fridge was small and full of ice on the walls.
