The host is VERY kind! He sent the clear video message how to access the appartment. He is very much available via Whatups which helps a lot. The appartment is very good located but when you rent a car. It is located on the hill so it is hard to get there by foot with your baggages. The appartemnt is very comfortable with all necessary accessories in the kitchen, rooms and bathroom. Very nice loaction, 3 minutes to get to the beach (by car), 5 minutes to get to the market or restaurants.

I.e. a shower is quite old, but anyway the appartement was clean. And important thing is that host take cares of his visitors :)

Spacious apartment, great dinning room and kitchen, free parking at the apartment and really good bed. Not far away from the beach but on hill. There is plenty of free parking spot available at the beach area. One of greatest host we ever met. Made our stay easy, communication clear, we had few issues and he responded and resolved immediately

Missing kitchen tools, smell from air-condition due dirty filters (we cleaned one), smell from bathroom and there unfortunately we had to keep doors closed. In a week we experienced 3 times water supply shortages in the evening right when back from beach(a common issue for whole area) but which the host resolved with emergency and immediately as we reported by activating their own spare water supply (however due that fact the water was not and the host supplied us also with few drinking bottled). There is an electricity saving so when you leave the apt the air-conditioning is off. That is common today but would be good to know in advance. The final rating is reflecting this troubles otherwise we would gave 10of 10

it would be great if the second bedroom would have AC

It had a great veranda and all needed basics in the kitchen to cook a nice Greek dinner and eat it while overlooking the sun setting over the city. It’s in a nice, calm neighbourhood, perfect for resting. You can still reach the central part of the city, it’s around 40min of walking or just a few minutes by car.

Everything was great.

The view from the terrace was amazing, location, parking availability, good base to get to the most beautiful beaches in western Crete, local beaches also very nice.

The place is clean, top of the hill, so a bit hard to access without a car if you are traveling with a small todler, but it's great to keep fit and enjoy a bougatsa when you get on top.

Some additional things in the kitchen would be nice.
