Tasos Seagull apartments

One of the best appartments I’ve been to. Location, free private parking, fast-working wi-fi. The appartment is big, well equipped, separate bedroom, two ACs. The owner is helpful, he likes to surprise his guests with fresh fruits. The old town Chania is about half an hour walk, city beach is two minutes away, lots of markets around. Great quality of sleep. All-in-all: superb!

The property is in a nice location close to the beach, and we paid a good price. I stayed on the first floor in the green apartment with my girlfriend. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioning is great, there is plenty of storage space and the kitchen is well kitted out. There is also a smart tv, a large balcony and several windows with shutters and netting. The bathroom is also of good quality with a large sink and roomy shower. The apartment was very clean and the wifi is good. The owner generally was friendly and the cleaning lady was also very friendly.

Overall, communication was not sufficient. When we arrived, the welcome from the owner was rather hurried. It was quite late (about 10:30pm) so we let that slide. However, we were not aware when bins/towels would be changed. We were informed the day before it was to be done, which was fine, but would have been nice to know from the beginning. Our towels were not actually changed, despite us leaving them in a pile on the table. When it came to checking out, we assumed it would be 12, as that is what it says on booking.com. This was not the case, as the owner came to our apartment much earlier than that and was expecting us out very soon. We said we would try to be out before 12 and he said not to worry if this was not possible. We were ready to go at 11:45 and he was quite rude to us, saying that “people do not do this” over an accidental dusty stain on a towel, which was only discovered when drying, as rinsing had not removed it. We were not given the opportunity to explain this, perhaps the towel could have got less dirty had it been changed. Not a nice start to our final day, especially as we were already stressed at rushing around to get out as soon as we could. The owner spoke to us not long before we were due to be picked up (he had kindly allowed us to leave our bags in the building until we needed to collect them). This exchange was more positive and cleared the air somewhat, though he did not acknowledge the check out time listed online after we mentioned it. Also, the fact we were treated like we were in the wrong, despite not being told otherwise in advance. A little more communication would have prevented any of these issues - we hardly saw him in the week we stayed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying here and I cannot express enough how fortunate I feel to have encountered the most wonderful host. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this experience was going to be extraordinary. The owner of the apartment, whom I now consider a dear friend, proved to be the epitome of kindness and warmth. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable in every possible way. It's not often that you come across someone who genuinely cares about their guests' well-being, and this host exceeded all expectations. Right from the start, he welcomed me with a genuine smile and made sure I felt at home. He patiently provided me with all the necessary information. The host was always prompt in his responses and went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed. But what truly touched me was the personal touch that he added to my experience. He took the time to learn about us interests and tailored his recommendations accordingly. He even surprised me with small gestures that made my stay extra special, like leaving some hand picked fruit from his trees and olive oil. Beyond being an exceptional host, he became a true friend. We shared stories, laughed together, and had insightful conversations about the local culture. It was an honor to get to know him, and his genuine warmth and generosity left a lasting impression on me. The apartment itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and conveniently located. It had all the amenities I needed, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The space was clean, cozy, and provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. In conclusion, my stay at this apartment was nothing short of incredible, thanks to the kindness and hospitality of the owner.

everything was great!

I liked everything about the apartment, it was spacious, kitchen was equipped well enough (for me), I enjoyed the huge balcony around the apartment and the quiet street it is located at. Tasos is a great host and very nice to spend time with!

There were two of us: my mom and me traveling to visit Chania in April, the location was quiet and green, all the trees and plants were blossoming all around. The accomodation is 5 minutes walking from a nice beach, supermarkets and restaurants are close by. The host was very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend :)

The apartment was very clean. Contained everything you would need. Large L shaped balcony so Sun available all day. Tv, cooker, fridge, microwave, coffee filter, toaster, all looked new. Towels and bedding changed every three days. 4/5 minutes walk to very nice beach and about ten restaurants. 15 minute walk to Chania harbour. Parking not a problem. KyriosTasos very friendly owner and is about most of the time. Would definitely stay there again
