HAPPY TRAVELLER - Luxury, Free public Parking

The location is great, at a 15-20 minutes walking distance to the city center. It offers a new perspective of Thessaloniki and some wonderful areas to walk and dine at that are not as touristy. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with a variety of bars, restaurants and landmarks. The flat is modern and completely renovated in an old building, equipped with everything you need and very cozy. The host is kind, helpful and responsive. We would come back and recommend it to other travelers. It can be difficult to find available parking spots in the designated area, but the host can recommend an alternative nearby. Overall, excellent value for money.

We really liked the flat itself, it was well located (ca. 15 Minutes walk from city) and there also were some shops for coffee etc. close. It was clean (at least if you don't open every cupboard) and the owner was very friendly.

You need to know: there is a lot of noise in the house and from surrounding buildings. Greeks obviously tend to shout at each other, no matter what distance and/or time :) so if you stay there and you want a good night's sleep, better take some noise cancelling earphones. Unfortunately, we didn't realize in the photos that there is only one proper bed, the other one was a bedcouch. Fine for 2 nights, but no longer.

Host was amazing, very supportive and kind. Apartment was nice, tastefully furbished and cozy, fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Wifi available and parking easy to find down the street.

Bathroom was small but for a short time rental is OK. We did not find very appealing the neighborhood where apartment is located.
