Poseidon Studios & Apartments

The apartment was really well equipped and exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed and indoor and outdoor seating areas. It’s located in a quiet road in central Paleochora with ample parking alongside. The owners were very friendly and helpful when we needed them. It’s a few minutes stroll from the excellent town beaches and the many tavernas and bars.

Our outdoor seating area was ‘shared’ with the neighbouring apartment which wasn’t evident in the on-line description. Whilst it wasn’t a problem for us because we seldom ‘crossed over’ with the neighbours it would have been good to know.

The owner is a very kind and sympathetic woman who gave us a big upgrade once we spent our first night at the studios.

The flat, which is half-underground, was very clean. Unfortunately it was also very hot/humid (early August). Since we didn't want to use the air conditioning, we had to open the very large window (floor to ceiling), which is only opening towards the court/street. This meant lots of noise from the street, mosquitos, and nearly no fresh air (although outside was fresh and windy). Mattress was old and soft.

the cleaning lady did an awesome job it is not far to walk to the beach or center balcony with visiting cute cats water power

the cars, motorcycles and people passing by were loud and we heard it all night because the door has a 2cm gap to the floor. but I am a very light sleeper (I always wear Oropax) so I guess other people might not hear it.
