The location was great for walking around Sparti, exploring Mystras and for a day trip to Monemvasia. Nice sized apartment with two balconies and good sized bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting area. Lots of individual sized jams, honey, hazelnut spread and instant coffee and tool to make Greek coffee provided. Xakousti met us on arrival and was super friendly and helpful in getting us acquainted to the area. He even gave us his dinner from the restaurant he recommended for a traditional Greek meal.

Loved the kitchen but would have appreciated a chopping knife, coffee maker, microwave and a toaster which would have taken it to another level.

A first class apartment in a central area close to all the shops and restaurants. Nickos was a great host.

The apartment is very easy to find via Google Maps and is in an excellent location on the edge of the town, close to the ancient acropolis as well as to all the shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. Communication beforehand is from “Laconian Collection Leonidas” on behalf of the owner, and was good. The owner lives in the other apartment on the third floor of the building, and was expecting us on arrival. He was friendly and helpful. The apartment is nicely appointed and tastefully decorated, just as pictured in the photos on booking.com. The main room has a kitchenette, a dining table and two chairs, a sofa-bed and side table, a large TV (with Netflix), A/C, wifi, a fireplace, and a balcony with a small table and four chairs. The kitchenette has a full-sized cooker and fridge-freezer, an electric kettle, and is well equipped for crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans, etc. The bedroom has a double bed with a firm mattress and soft pillows, one bedside table, a chest of drawers, shelves, a walk-in wardrobe, and a rear balcony with a drying rack, and a table and two chairs. The bathroom has a bathtub with sliding glass doors to enclose it for showering, a liquid soap dispenser on the wash basin and a body-wash dispenser in the shower. There is plenty of hot water at good pressure, as well as a washing machine. There are also plenty of extra supplies (bin bags, toilet paper, etc., etc.)There are hooks for jackets in the entrance hall. The wifi worked well.

There was nothing that we didn’t like, but it’s perhaps worth noting that no mini soaps or shampoos are provided, and that for the three nights we stayed the trash was not taken and there was no cleaning. There was also no coffee maker or toaster. Finally, it would have been nice to have lamps beside/above the bed rather than merely the central bedroom light.

it has everything you can think of. all around perfect. he even has a washing machine. Netflix account. two balconies with stunning views. the host was a sweetheart and very helpful
