Very clean, friendly hosts, great quiet location. Lounge chairs and hammock on roof top with view are amazing. Mini market and bakery across the street. Free wine tour down the road. Beach 4min away.

We spent just 3 days at Villa Stefania but we felt very comfortable, the house is clean and spacious and the hosts were really lovely - we enjoyed the cake and the liquor they left for us. We were not very lucky with the weather so we couldn't use the top terasse as much as we wanted but all in all we had a great time in Crete and the accommodation was exactly what we needed - good conditions for an excellent price.

"Great value stay with a stunning rooftop in an excellent location!"

Villa Stefania was a wonderful stay. it’s a huge first floor apartment with three bedrooms, a living room or fourth bedroom, dining/kitchen and bathroom. Natasha doesn’t live in the town but was super responsive on messages and her family, despite a bit of a language barrier, were incredibly lovely and welcoming. They live on the ground floor and in theory I guess share the rooftop with guests but we didn’t see anyone else up there during our stay. the rooftop was stunning, with nice views across the ocean and able to see both headlands. Plus there were fresh grapes to pick and eat! We used the coffee machine every morning and brought our breakfast to the cute balcony or rooftop. We asked for use of the bicycles but didn’t end up using them as felt safer driving, but we only visited the local beach once to be honest. The property is in an amazing location to explore from, with too many beautiful beaches around to name. There were just two of us but I can imagine it would be even better value for a small family or group of friends.

The apartment has been set up as a holiday house, so things are quite minimal/basic in terms of house or kitchen items. There is a frying pan though, a big pot, cutlery and crockery, olive oil, coffee with a drip machine, tea etc.
