Everything, a very hospitaliser house

We stay in the winter and the floor was too cold and needs to use our own shoes. Some room shoes could help.

The villa offers 3 bedrooms, a spacious kitchen with a living area, 2 bathrooms, and several balconies. Overall, we were pleased with the villa, as each room, including the common areas, had a working air conditioner. The presence of mosquito nets on all windows was highly convenient. The villa was clean upon our arrival, and during our 7-day stay, the towels and pillowcases were changed once, while the bed linens were not replaced. However, there was a washing machine and a dryer on the balcony. The Wi-Fi signal was not accessible on the second floor, while it worked well on the first floor. There was a barbecue area with all the necessary equipment. The kitchen was well-equipped with a good electric stove and oven, along with an ample supply of dishes, including oven-safe ones. We found everything we needed during our stay. Additionally, there were appliances such as a waffle maker and a coffee machine. However, the kettle did not work properly as it kept tripping the circuit breaker. The walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes, but the route lacks scenic views, with no sidewalks or shade. The sea is shallow and pleasantly warm, making it ideal for children. The nearest beach entrance was not the best, as it had many seaweeds. However, if you walk about 300 meters to the left along the coastline, you'll find a clean and inviting area for swimming. On Saturdays, a market takes place, which is a fantastic event offering a wide variety of affordable fruits, vegetables, fish, and greens compared to supermarkets. We particularly enjoyed the delicious watermelon and cherries we purchased there. However, we didn't come across any noteworthy cafes or restaurants. There is a supermarket within a 15-20 minute walk from the villa, where you can find all the necessary supplies. The town itself is small, with a bus that goes to the outskirts of Athens, where you can transfer to the metro for a journey to the city center.

It is important to note that you may not be the only ones in the house. The owners frequently appeared on the basement floor. During our week-long stay, there were instances where the owners left a large dog tied up around the house. While we are generally fond of animals, the dog was nervous about our presence and constantly barked. Furthermore, there was a situation where the owners had guests over, who spent time in the villa's courtyard. This could be acceptable if it was communicated and agreed upon, but in our case, we had rented the entire house and expected privacy. A few words about the town of Artemida (also known as Loutsa): it is located near the airport, and airplanes pass overhead with a frequency of approximately every 2 minutes, accompanied by the characteristic sound.
