Por un lado, destacaría la ubicación ya que el apartamento está en una zona muy tranquila y además, es muy céntrico. Y por otro lado, destacaría la amabilidad del dueño, Ivo.

The unit was newly-decorated and very bright and clean. Loved the skylight windows. It was very clean. Hosts were super-friendly and helpful. Excellent location for the town visits and quiet at night. Close to bus if needed.

The yard area that you have to pass through to get to the unit was cluttered with construction materials, washing machine, etc., so that took away from the general aesthetic. I would recommend cleaning that up. Lots of stairs to get to the attic unit but the entire town requires lots of stair and hill climbing so that's a general requirement for the trip.

The house is very nice and friendly - providing helpful information and clear instruction. With a private parking slot around the building, I feel very safe. Good location to the old town. There’s a small market and bakery next to the apartment.

I am honestly shocked and disappointed by my experience. During our stay, my partner woke up covered in bites, we then found a bed bug in the room the night we were leaving. I immediately notified the property, and to their credit, the staff seemed helpful and concerned at the time. I thought the issue would be handled properly. However, after leaving and following up with Booking.com (as per the hosts request), everything changed. Despite providing clear proof (photos and messages), it’s as if the incident never happened. The property has denied that we have notified them when confronted by bookings.com even when I have proof of the messages and photos of the bites and bug taken at the location. Initially I wasn’t going to mention this in the review as I expected them to handle the issue responsibly and ensure that this doesn’t happen to anyone else but after their dismissal and denial I think it is only right to alert other potential guests. It’s deeply upsetting to be treated this way after such a disturbing experience and I am very disappointed as the accommodation and the hosts seemed lovely until then.

The location is superb, it's 8min walk from the promenade, and 15min from a place where you can swim, on the other side of Marjan's Hill. The street is quiet, there was no noise. The parking is in front of the house, very easy to get in/get out if you come with a car.

There is no mini-kitchen in the studio, so you can't prepare any food at home. Split is extremely expensive for cooked food (warm meal), so it would be nice to at least be able to do scrambled eggs, or similar, in the house. There was however a hot water boiler appliance, that is useful to make coffee or tea.
