No response to our messages, phone number didn’t connect. Overall a very bad experience

Peaceful location, very spacious apartment, great air con. Really helpful to be walking distance from the Plitvice lakes (path to the lake shown in 2nd pic). Pizza restaurant nearby was lovely and there's a shop around the corner. Checking in and out was easy (keys left in door when we arrived then we used the key box when we left). Re the lakes, make sure you book online to ensure you can get a ticket (and think it's slightly cheaper that way). The app is helpful. We followed programme H which was nearly 9k walk. Our 11-year-old moaned a lot (it was really hot!) but our 7-year-old was perfectly happy! The lakes themselves are utterly breathtaking and so worth the effort of getting to Plitvice and the entry fee. Crowds were insane (August) but it didn't spoil our enjoyment.

The site looks a bit outdated and unfortunately there were building works when we were there (think they're laying a gas pipe) which is unavoidable sometimes and didn't really effect our enjoyment. My husband said they pillows were uncomfortable but I thought they were fine!

This was the perfect base to explore Plitvice lakes. You can walk to entrance 2 and we found this to be the best route when it was so busy in summer. There were not many people around when we went early at 8:30am- just remember to book your ticket in advance in the busy season. The apartment is huge, our family of four has more than enough room. Kitchen has everything you might need. There is a supermarket nearby and a pizza restaurant where you can grab some dinner or just a drink.
