Emperor's Chambers Luxury apartment

Very central apartment located inside the 1700 years old city world. The apartment is well equipped and the host Zvonimir is on time and very friendly and helpful.

Easy collection of keys, cozy apartment with TV and kingsize bed. Free shampoo, towels, hair dryer, kettle. I found 24h open bakery near apartment and also in the morning we got fresh fruit from green market ( 2 minutes walk). Tip for green market: Cash only!!

Amazing location, right in Diocletian's Palace, so easy walking distance to interesting things to see, museums, good food etc. The accommodation is homely, comfortable bed, good wifi and working space.

There was a bit of an odd smell in the bathroom and one side of the couch is uncomfortable to sit on

The apartment is clean, tidy and cozy - it contains everything necessary for a pleasant multi-day stay.

The only advice for third-country nationals who must register if staying in Croatia for more than 48 hours is to make sure to inform the host to register their stay in the country. During each previous stay in Croatia, I provided passport details so that hosts could register me, thereby avoiding any fines for unauthorized prolonged stays in the country, either for them or for me. This a strict rule and almost all hosts do their best to avoid having problems in this area. This time, I also provided my passport details to the host, but he did not register me - which resulted in me paying a fine at the border when I was leaving the country. Otherwise, I would have given a higher rating; however, I am disappointed because the fine ended up being more expensive than the stay in the apartment.
