The location was perfect, so close to the river and the old town.

Host is a charm. Apartment is well equipped.

The host was not helpful and very irresponsible. I asked the possibility of early check in a few days before my arrival and the host replied that she will see if this is possible. However, on the day of arrival, she did not respond to my inquiry. I was upset because I thought I could at least leave my luggage there. I waited for 3 hours. At 1pm, my local friend called her about the possibility of checking in, but she told us that the cleaner was not at the apartment yet because she was still working on other premises. The apartment will be ready AFTER 3pm. But why didn't she send the cleaner there earlier since I have told her that I will arrive early and she knew that I have waited for hours? Later, I was informed that the apartment was ready. But when I checked in, I found the floor was actually dirty, and understandably so since the cleaner used only an hour (or less) to clean the place. Moreover, as the cleaner "forgot" to switch on the heater, I have to wait for another one and a half hour for hot water (although I switched it on immediately after I checked in). I waited because I know the heater in Zadar usually took hours to get warm (based on my past experience). Nevertheless, even after this one and a half hour of waiting, the hot water lasted only for about 5 minutes and then turned into VERY cold water!! With shampoo on my hair, what can I do but to continue? This is truly an awful experience!

The approaches to the apartment was rather distressing and first impressions were rather upsetting. We experienced a number of problems with the shower and sink units which were blocked and caused flooding. The Tv internet was also not set up correctly and therefore not working. Cutlery was also tarnished with breakfast residue. although Andrej was fairly quick to react it left us rather disheartened. A small refund was offered and accepted.
