Downtown Excelsior

Great location, everything looked just like the pictures and the host did his best to make us a comfortable stay! I definitely recommend the place!

The apartment is very nice, looks exactly like the pictures. Recently renovated, nicely decorated and clean. You have everything you need in the apartment The host is very kind and responds to questions or anything you need asap. The entrance and first floor is not as nice but, this is normal in Europe, where some apartments are renovated but the building itself is not as renovated. I found the street quiet (unlike some reviews I saw) maybe because it was winter.

Unfortunately the previous guest smoked in the room. I’m extremely sensitive to smoke and despite the host providing me with air freshener, it was almost impossible to get rid of it. I even kept my windows open at times (despite the cold) to see if I could just get rid of it but nothing helped. It probably required a deep cleaning of the drapes even. Hopefully that’s gone by now, but I did not enjoy spending 4 nights having to use a piece of cloth near my nose to mask the smoke odor. Apartment is on second floor, there’s no elevator so if you have a heavy suitcase it may be an issue. I had neighbor help me with mine so that was nice!

Great location, modern and clean room

None. Exterior is under renovation but that is not the issue of an apartment.

Everything you need! Comfy bed, practical kitchen, clean bathroom, seating area with tv.

The only thing I would change: I'd replace the two chairs in front of the tv with a sofa, because it kind of sucks to not be able to cuddle up with your partner while watching a movie.

Location was perfect , the apartment too ....

There was a lot of street noise at night from the pubs in the area

It would be great if there is some closet for the clothes

The room is large, clean,with beautifull, comfortable and modern furniture, convenient, just a few minutes from the center of Zagreb. Near to the appartment there are super markets, cafes, restaurants. The area is nice and safe. The owner is kind and helpfull
