Umag Romantic Apartment

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, cozy apartment. Great location for Umag. The place was very clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. A huge thank you to the owner for being incredibly responsive and just a text message away whenever needed!

RELATES TO WHAT WE DID NOT LIKE RESPONSE REGARDING OWNER'S REPLY: Firstly, the housekeeper never showed up while we were waiting a couple of hours in the apartment after logging the complaints above. So she clearly did not come "immediately" as stated in the owner's response above. The owner said she would phone the housekeeper, but mentioned that the housekeeper was very busy, due to having other work. We did not receive any communication from the owner that this was done nor did we get confirmation from the housekeeper that she would come by. That is why the freezer drawer was still stuck. So as per our understanding, the housekeeper never showed and did not resolve the issues noted. Secondly, as communicated previously telephonically, the internet download speed was working, but the upload speed was 0 (zero), which I indicated before. We have furthermore sent the owner an image/screenshot of the internet speed via WhatsApp that we have run while connected to the WiFi. We have communicated that the router works so the point mentioned in the response is irrelevant. The issue was that the upload speed as per the image sent via WhatsApp to the property owner was 0 (zero). We could not make phone calls via WhatsApp or send messages as a result and had to purchase our own data to phone the owner and log our issues noted. It was also mentioned in the response above that we "touched the settings" of the router. We did not touch any settings of the router and the internet connectivity issue was present from the first to the last day of our stay. Furthermore, we were told by the property owner that she would contact the ISP (internet service provider). We did not receive any communication that this was done. And the internet still posing a problem up until our last day, clearly shows that our complaint was not seen to. See further comment's on what we did not like below.

So I feel the point mentioned above is, again, irrelevant and impolite. I would not want to have the property owner publish this about my stay. I am sure that all future visitors would feel the same about this. Fourthly, it also did not help that the owner's English was difficult to understand, which resulted in the miscommunication in finding the key to the property. For clarity, we advise the owner to please ensure that the wording is clearly formulated for someone to understand to gain access to the property. We advise that the owner rereads the initial messages sent to us on how we should have accessed the property. It was unclear and incomplete wording. Any individual would also agree to this.

Well equipped kitchen (except microwave, but can be managed with other facilities), comfortable bed, couch, balcony. The WIFI was sometimes instable and gone probably because of a storm. Nice location, easy parking possibilities, close to the center and to the beach.

The bathroom was a little bit small, and struggled with the cabin door (can be chocked with a sponge :) ).

Apartment is very nice, well equipped, near centre and beach. You have everything you need. We would recommend it to everyone...

I have never been at an apartment that was so well stocked. The owner really thought of everynlittle need visitora might have. The apartment was also very clean and very close to the centre. If we’re ever in Umag, we will surely return!
