The location is beautiful and the interior design is beautiful and relaxing.

The walk up to the apartment could be a lot for less physically able visitors. The closet doors also close very loudly.

The apartment itself was very nice - spacious, good layout, nicely furnished - and the location was great for easily getting to the old town.

I rented this specific place and paid a little extra for it because it had a washing machine and we would need one at that point in our trip. We were only going to be there for the day so wanted to get our laundry done before moving on to the next chapter. On arrival as we were let into the building we were told the washing machine was broken and he suggested we go to a laundromat to drop our clothes. We had no choice but to to do that and paid 20 euros to get our clothes washed only (not dried). We asked to be reimbursed since I had paid for laundry as part of the apartment but they refused to credit me. The bathroom smelled like sewer and even though we kept the door closed, it permeated the space. Upon leaving and in a rush to get to the airport, we found that the security lock from within had issues and for a short while we were locked in with the door open only a few inches. until we finally figured a way to get the lock to release. So if you stay there, don't use the deadbolt lock from inside. I was disappointed with the fact that they did not inform us in advance about the laundry or reimburse us for it and while the sewer smell may just be normal in that town, it wasn't pleasant.

Que tuviera tantos escalones las escaleras. No hay elevador.

Clean and ideally located next to the palace

Sewar gas smell in the apartment. This is common everywhere in Split though - so expect it!

We have stayed at this apartment before. We love the location, size and the ability to use the washer and dryer. It's always clean, smells great and we have the ability to spread out with the living room and kitchen.

This visit someone had broken the washing machine a few days prior to our arrival, which I would have been very upset that I was not notified, but we had friends staying in another apartment and used their washing machine.
