The location is perfect, just next to the Danube and Drava rivers confluence. Easy to approach by car, on a forrest road from Aljmas. The rooms are nice and comfy- we were offered a new room with double bed on the first floor. Complete silence, nature, and tranquility.

All was good.

Dies hier ist ein Ort für Naturliebhaber! Wir sind mit unseren Fahrrädern der Drau entlang gefahren und unser Ziel war die Einmündung der Drau in die Donau, dies ist genau hier! Einfach nur am Wasser sitzen, auf die Drau und die Donau schauen, den Wasservögeln zuschauen, anderen Vögeln lauschen und die Ruhe genießen! Pedala, der Besitzer, hat für uns gekocht, Fisch aus der Drau/Donau, zusammen mit dem regionalen Wein - ein Genuß. Er lud uns auch auf eine 2stündige Bootsfahrt auf die Donau ein, ein unvergesslicher Moment zum Abschied unserer 9tägigen Fahrradtour.

The apartment is new but not very clean. If you clean it yourself, you will be happy staying there. Don't forget your cleaning stuff 😉. The size of the apartment is very generous. We had there everything except a kettle and the freezer. But the fridge was big. The place is just for the men who loves fishing. There is nothing to do for others. It is not very well described. The beachfront is just a river bank. There is no any beach. The owner said to us that it is hidden under water as the river rises and dries again all the time. The place is pet friendly.

We stayed there 7 days, we still did not find any beach. it is not designed for long stays unless you just stay by the river fishing. There is nothing to do and no shops anywhere in reachable distance. We brought a lot of food with us. The road to the property is rough and gets flooded often. If it will get flooded it is just your problem. Serbia border is across the river. The owner made pictures of our passports, he said it's necessary for the authorities. I found it very strange as I never experienced such situation before. I was not able to check how lawfull it is. I intended to camp there but it's not a place for camping. The owner offers to do barbecue. There is no facility to do it yourself. Strangely enough we were only tenants for most of our stay. We ordered a room with beachfront view and our windows were facing another apartment. No drinking water. The owner provides bottled water.

Not much , host need to inform that property do not have proper road to reach , for example we travel with the motorcycle , road was mudy dengerous to drive safe .. on arrival room were cold , not much light around property .. host need to inform guest that road is bad …

The view from the main veranda, while eating fish cooked by the owner was amazing, and we really enjoying pure Croatian hospitality. We learned a lot about nature and history of this beautiful piece of Croatia.

Due to the high waterlevel we could not go out on a boat trip, so we will definitely come back!
