Kitchen was okay

The property did not match our needs and expectations. Reality was very different from the pictures on booking. The beds were way too small for a couple, very old and uncomfortable furniture. We left the apartment 2 nights earlier and looked for another place... Awful cigarette smell during our stay, we had a hard time breathing and the smell didn't go away even after proper ventilation. The host didn't speak any English so we had a hard time communicating.

L'alloggio era in un ottima posizione. Il centro si raggiungeva in una ventina di minuti a piedi o in 10 con i mezzi.

Letto per due persone troppo stretto. Anche la stanza da letto risultava angusta.

The AC was amazing. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The host was very friendly and communicates well. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. It really feels like home and for such a great price! The teddy bear was a nice touch.

Cozy and clean apartment in a great location. The host was the best. Highly recomended.

The location is great, the tram stop is one minute away from the apartment building, very central. We were lucky to find the free parking sport right in front of the building, which was a bonus, but the owner does not have his own parking spot. The host left us some wine and sweets and it was very kind of them.

The rooms in the apartment are super small, everything looks bigger and better on the photos provided. The bed in the bedroom is super small (my husband had to sleep in the living room) plus it was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. The kitchen was not clean when we arrived. First day we opened the drawer in the kitchen, it fell apart. We were there for 7 days and had to cook for the child, we had absolutely no cutlery to do it with. Very few items available in the kitchen. Also, the dishwasher is almost broken, and toilet so small I have hit my head on the boiler several times.

Communication with the host was quick. The location of this property is great. We are in Zagreb every month so if we were satisfied we would definitely consider it for our future stays. But NO!

I hope that future guests will have time to read this whole review eventhough it's lengthy. Since this property has score 9,0 I was expecting that we will be satisfied with it but from the moment we checked in I couldn't wait the day we will check out. Unfortunately. There was dust on the floor and on some surfaces. It seemed like someone just moped the floor without vacuuming. Even the owner said that when I contacted him. He explained that someone else cleaned the apartment before our arrival and not his usual cleaning lady. He didn't even know that before I contacted him so he contacted the cleaning lady and she told him. On one surface in the kitchen the dust was accumulating for so long. I will post pictures of the dust. And on the floor in the bedroom there was a chewing gum and so many dirty things below the bed. Disgusting. Also in the shoes closet there were dirty socks and sweatshirt, possible from the previous guest. I can't believe the cleaning lady left that there. Owner suggested that cleaning lady comes to clean the apartment again but we weren't for that just because we didn't have any place to store our things while she cleans, so I cleaned the most important surfaces. Entrance door of the apartment is without a key! Just a code! You can't actually lock the apartment (not even from the inside), eventhough the door can't be opened from the outside without a code but it doesn't feel safe enough, it feels like it can be easily broken into. We asked for the key so we could feel more safe and also so that our child can't open the entrance door and go outside. It is actually very difficult to shut the door from the outside. You need to slam the door. There were only 3 big towels, 2 small ones and 1 tiny. That was supposed to be enough for 5 nights for the 3 of us. I don't think so. Luckily we got more when we asked. Kitchen is terribly equipped. I will only mention things that fascinate me the most.
