Matteotti 2 Apartment

We’re really enjoying the space and appreciate Natasha’s hospitality. Everything has been wonderful, and we’re glad we decided to stay a bit longer.

This is an amazing gem of an apartment in the middle of the oldtown of Rovinj, close to all sorts of cafes, bars, shops, and really close to the sea where you can go do a morning dip from the cliffs (there are installed staircases into the water). It’s quite tastefully decorated, the owner is the owner of an art gallery that is just downstairs and she has also selected the art hanging in the apartment. I really appreciate places that do feel like a home and not the typical ‘apartment for rent’ vibe that you get with the most basic decoration, this was absolutely not the case here. Everything was carefully thought out, the kitchen had a coffee brewing moka pot, there was enough room to cook a quick meal (although we always ate outside - Rovinj has so much to offer), a big table to sit sown and eat, and a nice view to the busy streets downstairs. There was a fan on the ceiling which we did love cause it doesn’t get as cold as with the AC and also blows away all the mosquitoes 😅 The owner and her mom were extremely helpful in every way. All in all, amazing apartment. We were lucky to be able to book it, would definitely go again for longer, no doubt.

Staircase is very steep since it’s an old building - if you’re older or less mobile or with small children it might be an issue.

The apartment was super cute and curated in details just in the middle of old town. The beach is 4 minutes walk and every bar/restaurant/coffee place are just downstairs. The owner was amazing. We were working on the day of the check out and even though we had to leave the apartment, Natasha borrowed us another apartment for a few hours with no extra charge. This was one of my best stays in Rovinj <3

This is an exceptionally beautiful apartment, put together and looked after with much care. I can fully recommend it.

It was spectacular and beautifully decorated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Natasha’s hospitality was so nice and super helpful.
