Buonocore apartment

The apartment was clean, nicely furnished and spacious enough for 6 people. • Air conditioning reached all rooms and kept the space cool and comfortable. • The hot tub was a nice bonus and we enjoyed using it. • The host was responsive and helped when we asked about parking. • The location is close to the sea.

The fridge barely cools, and the freezer freezes too much.     •    The boiler is very small – only enough hot water for one bath before waiting.     •    The upstairs shower leaks a bit outside the cabin.     •    The Wi-Fi was very weak and often didn’t work; mobile signal was also poor, which made working remotely difficult.     •    The parking situation was confusing and stressful:     •    One day, a woman came and scolded us, saying we were blocking her private space – even though the host told us we could park there.     •    Later, the host clarified that only one short space in front of the building is guaranteed.     •    Our cars didn’t fit there properly (they stuck out into the road).     •    The host then sent us a free parking location 1.3 km away, which didn’t suit us, as we wanted to keep our cars under watch.     •    The neighbors were extremely sensitive – they threatened to call the police even though we only played soft folk music at 5 PM.     •    The host warned us we could be evicted if police came, which made the stay stressful.     •    Ironically, the area itself is very noisy – planes fly over every 10 minutes, and motorcycles are loud at night.

Excellent space, facilities, view across the sea. Quiet location, handy for mini market a bars. Lovely balcony (one of three!). Owner very friendly and helpful with useful information.

Lot of steps but worth it for the view.

Beautiful views in a beautiful appartment. Great place for up to 6 people comfortably. Perfectly situated half way between the old town and the beaches. Approx 20min in either direction. It was also fun to take the water taxi to the old town (25 Kuna / person). Car parking was not a problem, prepare for a lot of steps though! The hosts were very helpful, gave us useful advice about the area etc. Even when we lost the appartment keys and they were very helpful and solved it ASAP. Area is very quiet, no parties or disturbing neighbours. All in all a beatuiful place for a wonderful holiday.

We would have liked a microwave, which is missing from the kitchen, also the TV is an older type, so we couldn't log into Netflix etc (but who goes to a place like this to watch TV anyway!) an HDMI cable would have helped to attach to laptop (no wireless streaming either). The pictures don't show it, but there is a boat factory to the right of the bay, you can see it from the balcony, but it doesn't destroy the view (just don't look that way). Also there are planes landing every 30 mins all day, you can see them from the balcony and hear them, but it's not disturbing. We slept with our windows closed and aircon on because the traffic noise is too much for me and the street lamp shines into the upper room. I prefer to have the windows open, but it was not a problem, the aircons work well and are quiet.
