Nothing- it was perfect!!

If you’re thinking about booking the Golden Palace, do it! The apartment is gorgeous, modern, and unlike anywhere else I’ve stayed. The location was perfect for exploring Croatia, and it felt like a great home base throughout our trip. Toni was incredibly kind and accommodating from start to finish. Our flights weren’t until late at night, and he generously let us stay much later on checkout day so we could enjoy our last day, shower, and head to the airport without rushing. That level of hospitality meant so much to us. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Beautiful apartment, great location, and an even better host. We’d happily stay here again!

We loved everything about Toni's apartment. It was in a perfect location, had all of the amenities we needed, was exactly like the photos. Bed super comfortable, AMAZING rainhead shower and overall just a fantastic apartment. Toni was an absolutley amazing host. Friendly and helpful. We would definitley recommend booking this apartment and will stay here again when returning to Split.

There was nothing to dislike. Some people comment on noise but may not have realised you can close the shutters. I am a light sleeper and I had no issues.

Beautifully decorated apartment with exceptional taste and class. Perfect location in old town, and easy walking to restaurants, bars, the port area, etc. Everything has been thought of by the host, and the attention to detail is remarkable. There is one flight of stairs, however Toni was incredibly kind and carried our giant suitcases up for us! The old palace wall being incorporated into the apartment is something incredibly special.

There is some noise that can be heard from upstairs, and a person playing heavy bass music below. If you are not sensitive to noise, you’ll be fine! We had no trouble sleeping at night!

The location is central within the castle walls and close to the promenade and historic points of interest. The apartment has every amenity I could think of; a stocked kitchenette, a comfortable bed, restaurants, and sightseeing within walking distance, even a cell phone with the landlords number in case we have questions or problems when out of the apartment (I have never had someone offer that in all the many bookings we have done in various countries.

This is an incredibly located property in the old town. Toni met us at the unit and was an incredible host. The interior design is impeccable.

The property is up one flight of stairs, which wasn’t a problem for us, but might not be ideal for someone with restricted mobility

Lovely and very thoughtfully furnished apartment with everything we needed for a great stay in Split. Of course, the historic bathroom wall is a real highlight! The location is particularly good — within the palace walls, but at the back and away from peak foot traffic. Despite proximity to several cafes/bars, it is very quiet inside. Toni is a very responsive and helpful host, committed to ensuring guests enjoy their time in the city.
