Tony our host gives 110%. The location is for those that want to be where the action is, we can highly recommend this accommodation. Yes it is small suits a couple or 2 it is exceptionally in ever detail.

"Incredible two night stay at the Golden Palace."

Wonderful location inside the walls of the palace. Our host, Toni was incredible. He met us at the car free entrance to the walled Palace and drove us through the winding city streets to find a free parking spot for the duration of our stay. Such incredible customer service! Next, he showed us to our beautiful room and spent an hour orienting us to the walled city, with suggestions of the best things to see and do, along with restaurant recommendations. Because of this, we had the most wonderful experience in Split. We can without reservation highly recommend the Golden Palace, and our wonderful host, Toni!

It was a bit challenging to find our way,never once inside the walls.

This property is just perfect! We stayed just for one night with our daughter. The owners took care of every single detail decorating this apartment, and it truly feels like 5 star hotel: from the apartment design, quality materials used, amenities, cleanliness, comfort bed to apartment scent and sound system with lounge music. The location couldn’be better, and even being in the city centre, it is so soundproofed that you will sleep like a baby ( we always look for a quiet room even when travelling without kids). Look no further when in Split if you want to feel like at home:) Not to mention that you are actually sleeping within Dioclecian palace walls as a bathroom wall is an original one, 1.700 years old!

Great place to stay in Split. The room was quiet, clean, and centrally located to everything. Love the details in the room like the shower wall that has the original palace brickwork.
