Oh!Split Apartment

The apartment is beautiful!! Great location! Really close to the old town. Parking is nearby. Pictures provided to find the location. As a recommendation, it should be a video to find the apartment.

The only downside is if you have big luggage there is no elevator and 4 flights of stairs.

Listed as a 4 star, but its a 3 star!!! There were zero amenities. Nothing as advertised. No coffee pods, no Toiletries which is also shown in the photos. Even worse, the host just left the previous guests used shampoo and bodywash out. I hate the feeling of staying in an apartment that looks recently lived in... The shower has enough hot water for 10m max. Then takes about 30m to heat up again for another 5m. With this, the shower leaks all over the bathroom floor. We were also only provided 4 hand towels. No actual bath towels. No working Internet. No working TV. No AC in the bedroom. No actual pillows, just cushions. Uncomfortable. Not sound proof as advertised either... Can hear everyone from the different apartments.

Apartment is lovely and modern, with cool furnishings. Right near the heart of old town, it’s a good base to explore from.

Check-in was stressful. The owner/manager of the property text us in the morning to ask of our arrival time. We said 12.30pm, but were reminded that check in isn’t until 2pm - fair enough. No place to leave bags we were told, which again we understand given this is an apartment. So we sat with our bags on the street for 1.5 hours waiting patiently. 2pm rolls round and we still haven’t heard from the manager, who was supposed to let me know as soon as the place was ready and with entry instructions. I had to chase her, only to be bluntly told ‘the apartment will only be ready at 3pm’ with no explanation. We queried this and it was radio silence for 20 minutes. So we’ve just arrived, we’ve been sitting on a curb of a car park for 1.5 hours already and then receive this. My partner calls the number several times from his phone and there is no answer. Eventually she replies saying we can leave our bags in the apartment and come back at 3pm. No apology, no explanation, no niceties. I read beforehand in the reviews that the couple hosting were very friendly and helpful, so we were quite disappointed with this. The apartment is very nicely decorated and clean, no complaints there. It’s in a great location too. Reading previous reviews, I do think some details have slipped. This was mid way through our trip and so we needed to do laundry. The ironing board cover had been ripped off the board and was completely unusable - which was obvious so not sure why someone hadn’t changed this. Bed pillows were flat as pancakes, literally like sleeping head on the mattress. Some other small bits didn’t work, not bothered about this but just to illustrate that the place could do with a bit of TLC. Also 6 floor apartment with no lift. Fine for us, but perhaps not for some especially with luggage.

Spacious, bright and modern. Easy to walk everywhere. Ample wardrobe in bedroom.
