This was perhaps the best moderately-priced Booking.com apartment we have ever stayed in. It deserves an 11 rather than just a 10. Fantastic quiet location in the facade of the Diocletian Palace. Fantastic host that made extra efforts to greet and guide us, after a power outage in seaside Croatia and Montenegro delayed our bus by 4 hours. True two-bedroom apartment with amusing nautical theme. 24-hour bakeries nearby were lifesavers. The old fortress city next to the Palace remains was both fun and magical.

Eugen met us at the old silver gate took us to the apartment, he explained about the apartment and the surroundings.

Excellent location and host. Had everything we needed from washing to drying to cooking. Was really clean and the furnishing was really nice with all the fish and seashell details.

It is located in an apartment building so be prepared to climb stairs. The alleyway leading up to the apartment was a bit scary as it has a lot of corners but as a women I left safe walking back - do note that I was with someone else walking back always.

Excellent location within walking distance of the bus station. It was great being just inside the Palace gate. Eugene met us and gave us a good welcome and run down on attractions. He has also gone above and beyond in helping us with an item we left behind.

Not a complaint as it is an absolute privilege to stay in centuries old buildings, but this can come with access difficulties. We were fine with the stairs, but something to consider for some.

The location is *amazing* like one minute from all the best sights. And the living room is a cool perk, having that extra space plus the bedroom was useful. The decor was fun. It was clean. Plus, it even had a washing machine. Having the AC is so helpful. We were very impressed with the host, Eugene, who helped us check in and find the place, even staying late to greet us. He gave us a map, tips, and was super friendly.
