Apartments Villa Markiz

it was a newly renovated villa with excellent proximity to the main piazza and restaurants and shopping. it was very quiet, quaint location. the host was very helpful on places to eat. the kitchen was fully outfitted. if i return, i'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely property - beautifully appointed. Great staff. Only concern was the tepid water temperature in the shower. Not what you’d expect for the nightly rate.

Location couldn’t be any more convenient or the host any friendlier. We were met with a golf cart to help transport us along with our luggage to the door of the apartment on both arrival and departure! The apartment was beautiful - I loved the bathroom and attention to details throughout the apartment. We were steps away from the main attractions and restaurants in Rovinj - and swimming in the Adriatic Sea. It made it very convenient to change before dinner. The only disappointment was we only stayed for one night. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Location is ok

I booked based on the picture with the balcony and hammock overlooking the sea. When I arrived, I was told that this is not the apartment I booked, and I was given a different apartment. The apartment is extremely tiny. Living room has no windows. Bathroom has a balcony (!), but you can’t use it, because it overlooks the wall and there is another apartments’ bedroom window there and they want privacy. All walls are made out of paper (I think) because you can hear everything your neighbours do. every their step and word. Bedrooms’ window (the only window in the apartment) overlooks a tiny street, and you can hear every tourist, every child, basically everything as if there was no window. The apartment is expensive and totally not worth the money. I come to Rovinj every year, and have lived in many apartments, this is worst by far.

Villa Markiz is perfectly situated, tucked into a quiet corner just steps from the lively waterfront. It is within walking distance of all major sites, countless eateries, shops, central market, etc.

Absolutely no complaints.

Superbe host, accomodation in a lovely center area of the town. Enough space for a couple.

Old facility and tools available, no coffee provided, shower dysfunctioning.

Incredibly located overseeing the sea and with close amenities, the apartment is great and beautiful. We felt so comfortable in it that decided to stay in for our first night, taking in the view and having a bottle of wine. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay on Rovinj
