It was all excellent

The traditional wooden home situated on a family farm provided a perfect place to stay in this area. The gardens are beautiful, and the interior furnishing is authentic to the home. It was fun to watch the children and their pets playing in the yard. The welcome gift of homemade cake was delicious! The family who run the accommodations genuinely care about their guests. We had a problem with our rental car, and they came and picked us up where we were stranded about 20 minutes away, and then helped us deal with the rental company (taking calls and translating for us). It felt like we had friends looking out for us when we are so far away from home and having problems.

The villages are lovely but there are limited stores and restaurants. We loved the quietness and uniqueness of the area but could have been better prepared by stopping in a bigger centre for a few groceries before we arrived.

Absolutely adore the place! Stayed two years ago on our way back from Greece to the UK. Made a promise then to re-visit & have now done so! Beautiful accommodation, hostess & family. Dated property with so much character and a certain humbleness about it which lives within one!

Can’t fault it!

The owner was so very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The space itself was very special, the old wooden houses are unique. It was warm, clean and comfortable. The proximity to Lonjsko Polje sites is great as well. The storks nesting at this house arrives the day we did.

The place is really nice, in a traditional house, in a beautiful and quiet environment, with many storks around. The owners prepared a fire before our arrival, and they offered us some traditional homemade dessert. I warmly recommend that place.
