Residence Mama

If you are traveling by car on the Istrian Peninsula, this wonderful property is the perfect place to base out of. We did for 4 nights and drove to all the top sites in Istria, plus it is 6 minutes away from the best site of all - Rovinj. It is an amazing arrangement of 5 brand new and spacious apartments and one normal hotel-like room. Simona and her husband live on the property (their home) and are on site to run the place and provide all the advice and help you need. She also prepares a great breakfast for the guests. Parking is fantastic. You park very close to your apartment in a private and gated parking lot that is on their property. Simona will provide you the remote control for entry. We rearranged our entire driving tour of Croatia after talking to her because she and her husband and daughter know every inch of the Istrian Peninsula and the Island of Cres. Clean, new, comfortable and very spacious apartments with a great bed. Bonus - there is a fantastic Balkan grill restaurant right across the street that has a big wood-burning grill and they prepare every kind of meat and fish on that grill. We ate there every night after touring the area. This is ten times better than staying in any hotel unless you just have to have a pool.

Stayed for 2 days. Perfct location in istria region - exactly in the middle of everything. breakfast was very good. host was amazing. made sure i have somthing to eat at 7:00 am on my way to Zagreb airport to catch my flight (even though breakfast was served only at 8:00 am). Had used the lundry machine (there is free lundry soap) Free parking on site + you'll get a remote control for the gate.

Nice appartement with everything you need. Close to Rovinj and quiet. Breakfast is wonderful with fresh local produce and the hosts were very friendly

All in all, it was absolut perfect for us. This is a very nice residence which is run by two friendly and open-hearted hosts, Simona and Daniel. The Apartment was cosy, clean and very funktional arranged. The breakfast is absolut extraordinary! A highly recommended place 6-7 km to the old town of Rovinj and the beautiful coast.

Simona’s hospitality was above and beyond. Our trip was just a short stay but wish we could have stayed longer. You absolutely have to sample Simona’s mum’s biscuits - they seriously are the best
