"SCAM - DO NOT BOOK - SCAM"

SCAM - DO NOT BOOK - SCAM The photos are not a representation of the accomodation on offer. The booking system is a scam. I booked in March for 4 nights in July the “deluxe apartment” (which I do not believe exists) only to be told upon our arrival that the apartment was not available due to double booking and we were subsequently moved into a smaller apartment with no offer for compensation. I am currently trying to recover money from the property manager. The apartment I prepaid for in March was detailed as having 3 bedrooms (all with double beds), 2 living rooms, over 2 levels. What we are in at the moment is a filthy 2 bedroom apartment, 1 room with a double bed and 1 room with a single bed, 1 living room and an almost 300euro price difference. It is dirty, with stained towels, linen, bedding etc. left over expired/ mouldy food/ unwashed dishes and crockery/ cutlery in cupboards, mould and clumps of hair in the corners of the shower. The blinds and shutters do not close properly so the daylight breaks though the windows in the main bedroom from 5am. The window in the second room looks over the general foyer to the apartment building which has a light on sensors so the lights are going on all hours of the day and night. The images / photos that the host has used to represent his property are a misrepresentation of what is on offer. I prepaid in full 4 months ago believing I was going to be in a decent and well maintained, 2 level, 3 bedroom, 2 living room clean apartment but instead I’m in a disgusting dump of a place arguing with a property manager who should really refund me at least 300 euro for a scam he most probably engages in frequently. Also booking.com are yet to reply, their customer service has also been of little help in the matter of obtaining some sort of a refund (photo attached).
