Apartment Jakov with pool

This is the most difficult review I have ever had to leave as the family who own these 2 apartments are absolutely lovely. The place is also spotlessly clean.

Too much really. The apartment is a basement conversion with very little natural light. It is very noisy from above. Whilst we were there we had 2 separate groups of young guests in the apartment above who were ridiculously noisy. You can hear all noises that come from both apartments above. There is also a lot of construction going on next door and out back. We had non stop noise and dust for 2 1/2 days of our stay. Pool is also shared with no direct access. Location is around 4km from town in residential area. Car is essential.

De accommodatie was prachtig! Genoeg bedjes bij het zwembad en op een rustige plek. Ook de eigenaren waren ontzettend lief. De kregen vers fruit, gebakken vis en nog veel meer. Dat werd erg gewaardeerd!

De locatie was wel ver buiten het centrum. Maar binnen 15 min zat je met een uber in de stad. Dus dat was geen probleem!

⸻ We verbleven vijf nachten in dit appartement en hadden vooraf best hoge verwachtingen, mede gezien de prijs (€1100). Helaas viel het verblijf tegen. Het appartement bleek een omgebouwde garage (basement) te zijn, wat nergens duidelijk vermeld stond in de beschrijving. Hierdoor was er weinig daglicht en voelde het erg afgesloten aan. De slaapkamers en badkamer waren klein. De wc-bril zat los, deurklinken hingen los of kwamen eraf, en de afwerking liet te wensen over. De inrichting was erg minimaal: weinig spullen, geen gezellige sfeer. Ook was er geen directe buitenruimte bij het appartement zelf; je moest omlopen om in de achtertuin te komen. Daarnaast ligt het appartement in een straat waar op meerdere plekken renovatiewerkzaamheden plaatsvinden. Dit zorgde voor behoorlijk wat geluidsoverlast overdag. Kortom: de locatie zelf was op zich prima, maar het appartement voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen. Vooral omdat het niet duidelijk was dat het om een basement ging. Met een betere beschrijving, aandacht voor onderhoud én een waarschuwing over de werkzaamheden in de buurt, zou het verblijf eerlijker en prettiger zijn.

I liked everything, is a nice place to stay for couple of days: very nice and clean place, all the cutlery and vessel was washed before our arrival (we found them in the washing machine) beds were comfortable kitchen well equipped the pool area has nice furniture and you can use it until 23:00 host was nice and helpful quit neighborhood the cat :)

The pool and facilities at the pool were beautiful. Shower by the pool , lovely seating and eating area at the pool too. Owners are lovely, very helpful

We knew it was a little out of the way but there's public transport and taxis are fairly in expensive if you use Uber or bolt
