Guesthouse Ana&Ljubo

The hosts were so friendly and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was always homemade and fresh. The place is so clean and the area around is peaceful. Very close to the national park. We would love to come back and stay again.

Everything was perfect.

So close to the national Park entrance one. Three parking spaces were cleared of snow so parking was easy. They have a cool cat apartment had two bathrooms and was so clean. Ana is a gracious host. She offered us homegrown fruit and many homemade food and drink drinks. She cooked a very nice breakfast for us the next morning for 10-year-old. She was very friendly and asked about our family. It was helpful to have Google Translate for us to understand her Croatian, and for her to understand our English.

The layout of the big apartment was a little strange with the kitchen and sitting area accessed through a bedroom, but it was fine for us. It took a long time for the apartment to warm after turning on the heat.

The Staff…we only stayed 1 night so we can enter the Plitvice NP before crowds from tours,it was raining all day so we could not walk from the property to the park but its ok the park is beautiful,Anna & her husband are very nice & humble people,we felt safe

Nothing…The place doesn’t offer dinner that we can pay but I’m so sure if i would had tell Mrs. Anna about it she would had fix something for us to eat & we will pay them

Perfect location in a very nice neighborhood right outside Entrance 1 of Plitvice Lakes NP. It was a 10 minute walk to the park. We stayed in the downstairs 1BR apartment and loved it. Everything was immaculately clean, bed comfy, Ana super friendly (thank you for the schnapps), delicious breakfast, and the unit had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommend!
