Apartment Heart of Zagreb

The location is supbert. Everything is within walking distance. We love convenience and spaciousness of the apartment. It has all the modern amenities eg dishwasher, washer, microwave etc . that north Americans are used to. However, we didn't have a chance to use any of them.

The apartment is located on the top floor with multiple flights of stairs. (Mybad! I neglected to read the accessibility section) so it was quite a climb for us. The building is currently under renovation and very dusty due to the 2020 earthquake. I believe once the renovation is completed, the building will be quite pleasant.

Perfect place for short or long stays, clean and comfortable. Great location, very close to the main square and other places of interest. The apartment is very spacious, the kitchen is very well equipped, and there's a ton of space to store belongings, which is especially useful for longer stays. The host was very responsive and accommodating, provided clear instructions and information, and made both check-in and check-out super easy. Loved it and would definitely stay here again!

It's a bit of a climb to the top floor. This was not a problem for me but it may be challenging for those with limited mobility. However, this is typical of buildings in the center of Zagreb.

We had no difficulty at all, as the address of the house and the entrance to the house were explained very clearly. Our hosts answered all our questions immediately. The house had everything you could need. The location of the house was very convenient. The house was very close to the bus stops and the main square (Ban Jelačić Square). Even the cathedral's towers (under renovation) can be seen from the house's window. We stayed as a family of three. One person slept on the sofa bed in the living room. When we were looking for a place to stay, we noticed that the rental houses in Zagreb were very small. However, this house was quite spacious. We felt very comfortable. In the information about the house, the landlords stated that there was no elevator in the apartment. We rented the house knowing this. There are 122 steps in total. If you are not a very sporty person, you may have difficulty climbing the stairs. I just wanted to share this as information

A welcome pack would have been a very nice gesture. There is a very large sofa bed in the living room. Two people can sleep. However, it was not very comfortable.

Loved how central it was to everything - Zagreb is a fantastic city, everything is very walkable and it was nice to have a home-base which was easy to find and access. My stay was short but I would absolutely stay here again if it's available when I come back to Zagreb.

Couldn't figure out the TV at all but we didn't put much effort into trying to figure it out either, to be fair. We were in Zagreb for only a short amount of time so TV was not our priority.

The apartment was large, in a central location and the hosts were responsive.
