Great location and plenty of parking nearby .. the lady who managed the apartment was very lovely to deal with. Netflix included in English. 3rd floor so a few stairs for suitcases but hey still very good view and spacious. Lovely evening walk to port. Bar called the Kings Pub was the best food in Reijka at 5 minutes away.

Bedroom a bit hot & noisy

I usually don't write reviews, but I read many before confirming a booking. With this accommodation, I was surprised by the number of positive reviews, and for this reason, I ultimately decided to book it. That was a big mistake, and I don't want other travelers to make the same mistake as we did. Let's start with the few positive aspects: The key handover went smoothly. And now for the negative impressions: The stairwell is in very poor condition. There is a very strange smell everywhere. The worst is the smell when you enter the accommodation. The odor is so strong and artificial that we had to remove the scented sticks immediately. The smell of these scented sticks did not disappear even after two days. It seems that either a lot of smoking occurred in this accommodation previously, and the host is trying to cover up the cigarette smell with these scented sticks, or the host has an inexplicable passion for these very strong-smelling sticks. The cleanliness was also a major issue! The couch in the living room had clearly not been cleaned for a long time. There were many crumbs and dust under the cushions, which could easily be taken care of with vacuuming, but it was obviously not done. A shock was the bed linen! We were not sure if the bed linen had even been cleaned or washed or if it was left from the previous guests. The bed linen had stains and smelled very strong and unpleasant. Overall, the lack of cleanliness bothered us the most, and seeing such conditions ruins the vacation. It is also worth mentioning the host's request via WhatsApp message, asking us to give the highest rating (10). This arrogance prompted me to write this review. I wonder how it is possible for this accommodation to have such good ratings. Clearly, something is not right. I am very curious to see if my review will even be published. In conclusion, Rijeka is a beautiful city. But don't let your stay be ruined by poor accommodation.

The location was great.

I asked on whatsapp, if we can stay little bit more just for breakfast. They didn't let us for 20 more minutes to have a breakfast. But there was no cleaning lady coming.
