Uphill Opatija Apartment

Ein super sauberes Apartment mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht oder brauchen könnte, viel mehr als wir erwartet haben. Der Kühlschrank war bei unserer Ankunft mit Kaltgetränken, Schokolade und Keksen gefüllt. Der Blick vom Balkon ins Tal ist unbeschreiblich, noch besser als auf den Bildern, man kann sich gar nicht satt sehen. Bester und freundlichster Vermieter den wir jemals erlebt haben, hat uns sogar ein Mal nach Opatija gefahren. Abschiedsgeschenke gab es sogar auch noch. Dieses Apartment ist mehr als zu empfehlen.

Owner was very nice and helpful. Price was very good. Nice suprise was things to eat and drink left for us in fridge. Equipment in kitchen was very useful.

Access was not easy as it led along steep, narrow roads.

We loved the appartment. Comfortable, practical, all the amenities you can think of. Nicely decorated, it felt like home. It was not extra spacious but could easily sleep four. Balcony also comes handy. Don't forget to bring cat food if you plan to visit Opatija a lot! Ivica deserves a special mention. On the first day he escorted us to the house to make sure we didn't get lost. The refrigerator was full of delicious complimentary things waiting for us. And Ivica even offered an extra day stay for free since the flat had no reservations the next day. Sadly we had to go home because of work but such gesture was really extraordinary.

The location could be awkward for some. Pretty steep approach and quite up in the hills. The hike down to Opatija and back took some time. In mid march it was pleasant though, but in high summer could be another story. So basically you need to use the car every day to get anywhere. A remote location does bring peace, quiet and excellent views, so no points can be deducted for it.

It was an excellent experience that exceeded all our expectations. The best possible view in the area, breathtaking. The flat is very cozy and warm; we felt like home, not a rented, impersonal place. It's very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pictures in the description are absolutely accurate. Very comfortable beds; we had a nice sleep. Well-equipped kitchen. Special thanks to the host, a very warm and kind-hearted person who made us feel truly welcome and appreciated. Overall, very personal, exceptional experience. We will be back.

It's not a dislike (!), but important information. You should have a car to feel comfortable to travel around and get to the building; it's in a safe, quiet area off the main road.

Gyönyörű volt a kilátás, nagyon kedves tulajdonosok. Hideg itallal és csokival vártak minket. A szálláson minden volt amire szükségünk volt!
