Apartment STANIĆ - Home away from home !

Location was perfect to be traveling with a car. Easy to park around the apartment and a nice walk to the beach or the city center

Mr Stanic is kind and very helpful. The place has all the amenities and is centrally located close to cafes supermarket and the city center.

Owner's daughter went out of her way to meet me both to give keys and pick up. Owner checked in a few times during my stay and left me a very nice fruit basket when I arrived. He answers messages very quickly and I gave him some feedback on a few things and they are going to address right away. Apt is right on a main bus line (18) that goes to Promenade in one direction and both Mall of Split and City Center Mall in opposite direction. Both malls have decent food courts so I just ate there once a day. Its super easy to download the Promet bus app and buy tickets online as you need them. There is a very convenient light right next to bed to read or stream on laptop without having to get up to turn off a light and bed was very comfortable. Extra sheets and lots of extra towels provided. Full kitchen set up with plates, silverware and cooking pots. Would be great for small family or couple that cooks. The artisenal bakery around the corner, Butters, is to die for, and is open before 8am for both pastries and coffee. There is also a Tommys grocery store perpendicular to the apartment, just down from the bus stop along with a second cafe.

I'm used to it from home but on Friday/Saturdays, it can get very loud with road traffic and people talking/yelling while walking home after an evening out. Much less noticeable if you keep the windows closed. First shower had limited hot water but if you keep water heater on (tip from daughter) and turn water off after you wet hair and after you rinse, you can take a decent shower with warm water. The window/door placement in the living room and bedroom doesn't allow for a lot of airflow in the apartment so it did take me 4 days to dry a hoodie sweatshirt. I had limited clothes so I used the Music Laundermat, a short 4-5 stops on the same bus (Mall direction) to save time. It is clean and price to wash includes soap (average 8-10 euros for a good size load wash and dry). Apartment was a little more than I needed since I don't cook, so would probably just rent a room if I come back to Split (Absolutely no fault of owner)

There were a few things I would say that don’t make the apartment a 10/10 1. The water boiler was too small and ran out of hot water quickly 2. The AC is in the living room Good parts of the apartment 1. The place was super clean 2. It has everything you need or want for an apartment 3. Comfortable bedding and couch

Honestly, everything was amazing, the host was really kind and welcoming. Then the apartement itself is incredible, you have everything you need, the bed is comfortable and your pretty close to the beaches and the centrum. Great stay for a couple.

Amazing host! U can find in apartment everything u need. Good location.

Super noisy! In bedroom there is no AC so gotta open windows. Noise from street is just horrible. Also u can clearly hear how people entering a building. They shut entrance door so hard that walls are vibrating. No good sleep in this apartment unfortunately ;(
