Absolutely fantastic unique place with the nicest host family, Nikoli, Gabby (?) and your Mum who cooked for us also I think?! We were a family of 5 with teens en route to Dubrovnik. We were given the warmest welcome. We only stayed one night and we had requested dinner in advance. We started our evening with a swim in the beautiful fresh water lake. The meal was absolutely delicious and the 2 bed apartment was comfortable, clean and spacious with a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake.

It was a wonderful stay. The apartment has everything you need – it is perfectly and tastefully furnished. The owners are very friendly and attentive. They have their own garden, where my children enjoyed delicious figs :) and they have a private beach with sun loungers in the shade and a pier – perfect for jumping into the water. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet - there is a beach bar in the neighborhood where you can eat and drink at reasonable prices. We will definitely return there and stay longer than this time.

We loved everything! Firstly, communication was prompt and spot on. Next, the apartment was well equipped and clean. From the balcony the view of the lakes is incredible, we spent ages sitting and enjoying the water, the mountains, the trees. It’s truly beautiful. Finally the family! They are such warm, delightful, hospitable people. Nothing is too much trouble, anything you need is quickly provided. For a very reasonable payment they will cook you an incredible meal - a ‘peka’ and serve it up on the terrace overlooking the lake in your own private restaurant. Absolutely recommend!

The only thing I would suggest is that it’s quite difficult without a car. Having said that, Ranka and Ivan will help you with getting supplies from the supermarket if needed.
