ac was in the kitchen, in the living room it was hot due to summer weather and windows couldn't be opened for air due to traffic sound outside, this could be improved in future,

Everything about the apartment was great. You realize how thoughtfully the entire apartment has been set up. Also the location is great, making it easy to explore Budapest.

Great location, convenient to garage, convenience store, bakery, and public transportation. Spacious apartment, great layout, well-stocked with every convenience for a comfortable stay.

Not the best part of downtown Budapest. Dirty streets, alleyways, with graffiti, trash, and evidence of public urination or just dumping liquids are everywhere. The beautiful ornate buildings in a state of neglect. One note with respect to checking out. We felt pressured to leave early to allow the cleaning crew to come in at 10:00 am. I expect to be informed of such expectation ahead of time, and not the morning off. Alternatively, adjust the check-out time to 10:00 to manage expectations. Finally, international bank transfers, at least for some US bank account holders, is cumbersome. I understand the need to avoid paying the credit card transaction fee; but, the host needs to make this explicit before accepting a reservation with a credit card, only to inform the customers upon arrival of the change. We ended up paying with cash.

the owner sent us the key ox code so we were ale to let ourselves in when we arrived.

Perfect location and very helpful host! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Will be returning!!
