Orsi's sweet & lovely home

Location was good for us, place looked ok, decent price and you've had the needed basic amenities (small kitchen area, AC, etc.)

Our trip was ruined by a swarm of cockroaches in the apartment. We got there in the afternoon, left shortly after and came back late in the evening (like 11 PM). It was late, we did not even notice as we didn't turn on the big lights, but when I went to the bathroom I've found one near the drain, then when I got back to the living room I turned the lights on and got like 10 of them in the next hour... Tried to get support from Booking, as it was after 1AM and I was sure the owner will not respond. They were absolutely useless and unhelpful (hung up on me multiple times), then they just sent me a 20euro credit on their site and passed it to the owner. The owner did actually call me shortly after (at this point it was like between 2-3 AM), promised a refund (booking processes meant this took like 2 weeks). Also the next day she's told me an exterminator was called, but for obvious reasons, I didn't really want to go back. It was very hard to get any alternative accomodation at that point, everything was pretty much booked, we've had to pay a hotel almost double the price to host us. I realoze the full refund having been processed the case realistically was handled, but I still felt screwed having to reorganize the whole weekend... Overall, considering I had to pack up and leave in the middle of the night I would not consider it a succesful stay. Also, there is a door (regular door) and a metal gate in front of it (on the outside). We only got keys to lock the gate, which I felt wasn't too safe. Initially I was like whatever, but since I had to leave a bad review, might as well mention this too

Gute Lage alles gut beschrieben und sauber. Es hat alles was man braucht. Die Handtücher u Bettwäsche waren so weich u haben super frisch gerochen. War perfekt für uns Toll auch das es Tee u Kaffee gibt

We stayed in this apartment for a month and it was definitely a home from home. Facilities excellent. Communication with the host great. Warm and comfortable sunny and bright.

Upon arrival, my first impression was not positive. In front of the building there were piles of rubbish and scattered waste, as well as several homeless people in the area, which created an atmosphere of neglect and a certain sense of insecurity. Once inside the building, the situation did not improve. The rubbish bins were disorganised, many of them without lids and overflowing with waste, which contributed to an unpleasant smell that spread through the corridors. It was evident that someone had urinated in several areas, particularly in the corners of the staircases, where the stains were visible and the odour strong. However, the most disturbing part was discovering that someone had defecated along the corridor. The stench was unbearable, and the scene completely inappropriate for a residential environment. Overall, this situation seriously affected my perception of the place and the sense of comfort and safety I had expected to find during my stay.

Room was clean and comfortable but be aware that it is in a dodgy alleyway with rubbish lining the stairways as shown by other reviews.

Very horrible experience with the dishonest owner (Orsolya) of this property: Orsolya was very unresponsive and unhelpful throughout our brief stay. Her messaging was also very rude and we regret not reading her responses to other negative reviews on here before booking. As soon as I checked out, I realised I have left my new expensive coat that I just bought for this winter trip on the door hanger, and immediately contacted the Orsolya to retrieve it. Orsolya claimed she and her cleaning staff were away on holiday and after delaying responses for more than one week without providing any update for my request, I sent multiple prompts and she immediately responded with the lie that the cleaning staff had thrown my coat out because they thought it was rubbish. You can see the conversations attached. I had to file the incident as stolen item with the local police, which is not a good use of time when you are on holiday.
