Apartment Havana

The apartment is well equipped and comfortable and located perfectly a short walk to the old town. There are plenty if shops nearby, even next door. The host is very welcoming and quick to respond. We would highly recommend this place.

Very clear instructions about collecting the keys.

- Self-check in was convenient and owner was very responsive. - The location of the apartment was within walking distance to both the old town and the bus station. There is a small supermarket open till late right below, and a 24hr bakery. - Has all the amenities of an apartment and the bed was comfortable (pillow wasn't though). - fast WiFi and good TV.

There were small steps between the living room/dining room/bathroom, so it is best to be careful not to get hurt. Also, the toiletries provided were unsatisfactory - not a big deal, and I'm sure it's an easy fix. Not enough plugs throughout the apartment, but again, workable.

The communication with the owner Josip was extremely pleasant and he was always willing to help, offered tips and suggestions. Although we didn't meet in person, the check-in/check-out was easy and he sent detailed instructions about the flat. He always responded to my WhatsApp messages within minutes. The flat was spotless clean and very comfortable for us (two adults and one child aged 5). Perhaps it looks a little bigger on the photos posted here on Booking, but the size was absolutely sufficient for our family... and the way it is presented on the photos, it really looks so in reality too. Lovely yet simple decor, good quality beds and linen etc. What we liked the most was, that it felt like going into someone's home- the kitchen was fully equipped - cutlery, pots and pans etc and it included coffee, tea, olive oil, vinegar, some basic spices. The bathroom had every possible stuff you could need and perhaps forgot to bring from home- from the sun protection cream to a shaving foam. The flat is on the second floor without a lift on a moderately busy street- but the apartment is not facing the main street and is very quiet day and night. In the same block of flats there is a smaller but well-stocked supermarket and 24/7 bakery. It is located right next to a lovely park, some 6-8 minutes walk from the Five Wells Square, some 10-12 mins from the Forum and about 15 mins from the Sea Organ. Very close (5mins walk) is also a big Interspar supermarket and a shopping mall. Approximately 6 mins walk is (in my opinion) the nicest beach -Kolovare Beach. An Uber taxi drive from the airport took about 15 mins and cost very reasonable 14 EUR. I am a regular traveller and have been in many flats and apartments so far... but very rarely I got the feel of a real home in a foreign city. This apartment felt like a real home to us and made our trip to Zadar even more special.

Location was great, few minute walk to the beach and supermarket around the corner. Old town within walking distance. Apartment was clean and well organized. Aparment had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very polite.

Pillows were bit too large.
