Cozy 1B Apartment Vera-self check in

The location was very good. The apartment is a quiet gem in Zagreb and close to everything to be able to explore on foot along with trolley stops near by if you wanted to travel further. There were many amenities within a few minutes walk - bakery, coffee shops, bars, grocery store, bank, parks and restaurants . The bed was comfortable and a nice patio in a quiet courtyard.

Smelt damp

Location it is 5 minutes walk to the very Centar of the City.

Black mold was eveywhere, the smell was unbearable and we could not be there. We spent one night there and we had to sit outside until 1 am just to spent the least possible time in the apartment. Once we get ourselves to go to sleep noone of us could not do it. The smell was killing us, and the bad were beyond uncomfortable. Once we reach out to the owner first he said that we did not said anything when we first came to the apartment, but we just left our things in there and went to lunch. Even then the smell was horrible but we thought if we leave the windows open that would help wich unfortunately did not happen. After that he stop communicating with us. There was three of us and one of us didn't even get the sheets. She slept on the sofa which is everything but not for sitting or sleeping! Our back hurt us when we get up at 6 am since we couldn't breathe and just wait for dawn to come. Thanks God we only booked there for one night 'cause we would definitely had to change the place. It costed 73 euros for one night and we are travelers but we agreed that we never had such awful experience for that cost.

Not enough cooking appliances and stuff… The blinds in the bedroom were broken so quite some light in the room.

When I entered the property it was filled with fruit flies, I tried to find the source but couldn't find it, also tried to get them out but only got a few out and it felt like more were joining constantly. At the end of my two nights the place was still filled with fruit flies. The second thing I noticed was the smell of black mold in the entire property, later in the stay when I attempted to use the washing machine I found it filled with black mold. The third thing I noticed is how unsafe the property is, I was alone but I noticed all the electrical and fire hazards around. The property is not child proof, there's exposed wiring on floor level.

Very friendly and responsive selg check in. Has pretty much what you need.

There was one or two issues. The washing machine was broken. When we arrived it was half full of stinky putrid water :-( which means whoever cleaned the the apartment, didn't check the washing machine! Plus we only had one bath towel for two adults. Lastly the internet kept dropping out.
