Allegro Exclusive Suites Old Town Center

Beautiful apartment in an amazing location. The host was very helpful during our stay. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Zadar. We will hopefully return one day!

The property (Mushroom Apartment) was in a fantastic central location, secure, very spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you could need. The air con units (one in living room, one in bedroom) were very good. TV had Youtube capability so you could watch things from your phone if no channels suit you (only Sky News in English). Blinds and outer shutters very good for light control. Paula was so helpful - we had the keys early as the room was ready before check in.

Barely anything - but if I was forced to make suggestions it would be that there was a sign put outside the street door to notify you of the Allegro Apartment as we took a while to find it ! When you enter the building - be aware that it is dark in the hallway on an evening but we did eventually find a timer switch for good lighting as you go through the door and another outside the apartment for when you go out at night.

It is in the center, close to everything you want to do or visit, for me the best location I have ever been in. In Croatia it is quite hot now and in the studio they had air conditioning in the room and also in the living room, which was very good because you didn't get hot anywhere. We also liked the detail of leaving coffee, infusions and things for the host

I liked everything

Functional, clean apartment in a great location. Host was quite helpful. Check in was really easy too which was important as we arrived at night. It’s is above a busy bar but you don’t hear the noise from the bedroom so it’s ok.

We booked last minute so there was t alot of choice but I felt the value for money wasn’t great compared to where we have stayed in Italy and Croatia. Parking is a nightmare. We did get helpful tips from the host but in peak season you can drive around for a while to find a spot. Note we heard that foreign license plates will get ticketed (we saw locals parking all over the place with no tickets). Download the BMove app to pay for parking.

Not good air conditioning in the living room

Stunning place. It looks exactly like the pictures. Too often we’ve booked places on booking.com that are misrepresented. This was not! The host was so easy going and helpful! She was extremely responsive and made the stay so wonderful. She even went out of her way to give us tips on where to go for our stay in Zadar but also for our next stay. Answered all of our random questions promptly about Zadar - that she didn’t have to.. It was very comfortable and clean. Spacious apartment and the bed was very comfortable too. The washing machine was a bonus to have! The kitchen was stocked with all essentials and even had ice trays. (A must for us Americans 😉) The location was convenient as it was right inside the old town. Very secure apartment as it has a code for the entry and a second locked door before reaching the apartment door. We thought the value for the money was great!

The location was nice but might be problematic if you are a light sleeper. There is a bar directly across from the apartment that plays very loud music well into the night. With ear plugs we were able to sleep however. The bath towels were so hard that we had to pat ourselves dry because it was so painful to wipe our bodies haha if it weren’t for this, we would have rated a 10/10.
