Apartments Mirela

There's so much I could say but I'll try and keep it to the headlines. The hosts: Tony and Mirela were so friendly, helpful and welcoming - the chauffeured trip to the supermarket was massively appreciated and set me up well for my 5 night stay. The apartment: I stayed in the blue room and it was immaculately clean and perfectly spacious and equipped for my needs. I self-catered quite a bit and got by fine with the hot plates, microwave and fridge (kettle also available). Aircon and fan were appreciated! The balcony is beautifully framed with flowers and the view of the sea down below is stunning. Watching the bats at sunset was a particular highlight. Great shower and little complimentary toiletries. Comfy bed. The sweeping brush in the hallway was useful to keep on top of things. Mlini: a little slice of tranquil heaven, worth the 227 steps to reach the seafront (I counted them!). Srebreno is a 10min stroll from there for more bars and restaurants, if that's your vibe. My favourite bar, Gusar, was halfway between with sea views to die for and a great mojito. Basilico was great and I was thrilled to find gluten free pizza there too. There are boats to Dubrovnik and Cavtat, but I loved Mlini best. Beautifully clear seas for swimming, but definitely bring water shoes as it's rocky. I'd highly recommend hiking up the hills behind the apartment too - very early before it gets hot!

The surrounding area is peaceful, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind

Everything ok

We had a fantastic stay at Mirela apartments! The place was immaculate, and the location was perfect - just a short walk to the beach. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

You won't get better hospitality anywhere

It was hard to imagine a better apartment – we were pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, everything was new, the bed was comfortable, the essential amenities were provided, the location was superb, and the balcony had a stunning view. The owners truly deserve a nomination for the best. They met us outside, were very friendly, helpful, and understanding. They explained the key details and also treated us to a welcome drink and fruits from their own garden. It’s hard to find such genuine and kind people, especially among apartment owners.

All I can say is that the whole stay here was absolutely perfect! The room was very clean and comfortable with all the things you would possibly need. Amazing location, beautiful views and the kindest hosts ever!

The bathroom is small for the rest of the apartment but I really like the place and I appreciate the host help.

It was obvious from the outset that Tony and Mirela take pride as hosts. This is what makes the difference and as a result they took good care of us and did everything they could to help from arranging things for a special occasion to lending us hiking poles. Mirela also made some of her famous apple pie mid week which was delicious. We were able to leave luggage in their office after check out. The cozy studios were renovated and spruced up recently. Towels were refreshed regularly, there was a microwave on request, etc etc. We had a very pleasant stay thanks to their care and attention. Thank you.

Be aware the coastline is steep and dramatic along here so there are steps down to the beach and back up. Fine for able bodied and fit folks - but to be avoided if elderly or physically impaired.

Our hosts could not have done enough for us. We booked last minute due to our previous accommodation becoming unavailable, and we are so glad we did. We would not have received the hospitality we did anywhere else. If you get a chance to sample Mirela's baking, take her up on the offer, it is delicious. The apartments are on a sloped side road, and in the beautiful heat, it was a longer walk back than on your way out, but everything you need is in walking distance. I would happily return to these apartments
