Sunshine - Cozy Stay in Central Split

Location was ok. At a walkable distance from the center. Air conditioning worked well.

The room was not clean as I expected. There were dust on the table surfaces.

Location was ideal, close to old town, fresh market and very short walk to the beach

Bright apartments with a great view out of window. Spacious enough. Perfect location

There is no elevator in the building and the apartments are on the fifth floor! The apartments are very worn out (no renovation for about 40 years). Everything is dirty: kitchen cupboards, kitchen utensils, plates. Bugs. Electric stove does not heat (we waited half an hour for scrambled eggs to cook). Switches are tight. Keys hardly open the entrance door. Noise from the windows. It's a busy street, the windows are old. Open or closed, the soundproofing is the same. There is no sink in the toilet, only a bathtub and a toilet.

The host was fabulous and offered to take us to the airport free of charge.

The location, air conditioning & the host was a nice man.

There are 5 flights of stairs, which would be difficult for some. The bathroom is very very small with no basin. you need to hold the shower head and not a lot of water comes out. The HWS is in the shower with you. Only 1 roll of toilet paper so we had to buy more. Disappointing that he kept offering to pick us up from ferry(1km away) with no mention of payment but then asked for money when in the apartment. Would be better if he said “I can pick you up for ? euro” to be clear.

It was outdated and too small. One room didn’t have AC so it made it very uncomfortable.
