Apartment Vana

We thought apartment Vana was in a perfect location, it was less than a 10 minute walk into Old Town. Silvana has a very comprehensive tourist information folder in the apartment for guests to browse through. Her apartment was spotlessly clean and we were so pleased there was a lift up to her floor. There is an amazing view from the apartment window of the harbour and we would highly recommend this place to stay for your time in Split.

Nothing it was superb.

We loved everything. It’s less than 10 min walk from the Diacletian Palace. The view from the 10th floor is breathtaking. The building is very clean and convenient. But most importantly, we loved the setup of the apartment. The hosts made every effort to make the stay for guests comfortable; every minute detail is so well thought of. All amenities a guest class, all necessities are there. The homely touch for all items, even binoculars for viewing the port. I wish we could stay longer! This was the most comfortable stay in our 15 day Croatian trip. Thanks, Silvana!

The apartment was absolutely fantastic with stunning views. The host, Silvana made us very welcome she prepared drinks and refreshments for us upon our arrival, she gave us great information about Split and the local region, she was always available to contact and she prepared us the most beautiful, wonderful fish dish after we had a long day out at Plitvice national park. The apartment was perfect and had everything for our needs with amazing storage for our clothes and cases, it was immaculately clean & very comfortable. It was a perfect location a short walk to the beach and to the beautiful old town, it was very close to supermarkets, beautiful bakeries and chemists and was only a short 10 minute walk to the airport shuttle, train station and ferry terminal. On a scale of 100 i rate this accommodation as 101, it really was a very special place. Silvans literally thinks of everything to make your stay memorable & happy, she was the perfect host and we were sad to leave the apartment and this beautiful country, we will 100 % return and if we are lucky enough we will be able to book this apartment again. Nothing, it was perfect in every way imaginable.

A lovely, well-located, compact apartment. The hosts were super and made us feel very welcome, the supply of little treats was much appreciated. Communications before, during and after our stay were timely and easy. The apartment has everything you need for an enjoyable (and in our case self-catered) stay. Lovely view from the 10th floor apartment. Within easy walking distance (5 minutes) of the sandy and popular beach. Within easy walking distance (10 minutes) of the bus station from where the airport shuttle bus departs/arrives. Within easy walking distance (10-15 minutes via the waterfront) of the old town and its sights. A supermarket is located within a very short distance of the apartment (2 minutes) and a larger Tommy Hypermarket nearby too (<10 minutes).

With the windows open (and occasionally when closed), there is quite a bit of traffic noise during the day (and occasionally at night), some loud motorbikes can periodically be heard roaring by along the road adjacent to the apartment complex and cars often tooting horns. Not a major issue, but we would have preferred not to have heard the traffic as much as we did.

We loved staying at Apartment Vana. The apartment has it all, including a breathtaking view. You also get to enjoy feeling like a local while living in a local apartment building. The location is a very short stroll (5-10 minutes from Diocletian:s palace, and the ferry harbour/ bus station. It is also a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Vana was a very communicative host. She was in touch before check-in, and very clear in her instructions, as such, check-in was a very easy process. Upon arriving, we were immediately impressed by the apartment. It was clean, well thought out, and had all of the amenities of your own apartment. The bed was comfortable. There was a closet, shelves, hampers etc. for your clothes. There was also a washing machine, which was an added bonus and nice to have. There was also a kitchen with everything you could want, a stove-top, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishware, coffee maker with pods, and the list goes on. Vana has thought of everything, including a comprehensive guide to the party, and everything Split has to offer (some bus and ferry information, car rental and parking spots, grocery stores nearby, and a whole lot of other information about Split. Overall, we loved our stay, and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Vana!

We were very well received! The apartment was great, with a beautiful view and had everything we needed! It is very well located - super close to the beaches, the supermarkets and the bus and boat stations. We spent a perfect week in Split! Thank you so much for receiving us!

The only thing that we did not like it was to checkout until 10 am.

Awesome view and set up. The owner is friendly and there are lots of extra lovely touches that she leaves.

We loved the view, cleanliness, location, & amenities.

The couch is awkward & supremely uncomfortable. The bedroom could use a fan as the AC only benefits the living area. I’ve seen both of these issues listed in previous reviews, so might be something to consider.
